Does it seem like the harder you try to figure out how to win her back, the more frustrated you get? If your ex is getting more and more distant despite your attempts to win her back, then it’s very likely whatever you’re doing is pushing her away. The good news is that with a little guidance, you can turn things around and get your ex girlfriend back.
First, you’re going to need a plan. Think about it: You make plans for everything else in life that’s important right? learning how to win her back is no different… you’re going to need a solid plan. Failing to plan in a situation like this is the same as planning to fail. You can’t go into this blind and expect a successful reunion.
As men, we are taught from a very early age to work hard for what we want and to fight for what we believe in. But trying to save a relationship is one situation where trying harder usually backfires.
You see, when you try too hard, there is a tendency to come across as pushy, needy and/or desperate. All of which are unattractive qualities. Your ex girlfriend is probably attracted to strength and confidence… the exact opposite of what you portray when you throw yourself at her.
You need to back off and give her some space. Show her that you are still the confident and strong man she remembers from when you first met. Taking a break also allows her some time to miss you. How can she miss you if you’re constantly chasing after her?
You’re going to have to give the relationship a break if you want to win her back. After a few weeks of no contact, she will start to wonder why you’re no longer chasing her. She will naturally start to be drawn towards you and will be much more open to getting back together. Of course, there is more you’ll have to do than just give her space, but this is a powerful step in the right direction.
