If you are battling to get your relationship back on track you probably know that you are not alone. Hundreds of thousands of people all over the world are breaking up and making up (or trying to) every day.
Of those that are trying to make up some 96.6% will fail. A lot of people will give a lot of reasons as to why this is but the truth is it is simply because men and women are so different and everyone tries to get the relationship back on track based on how they feel and think. This is of course totally wrong because to get your relationship back you need to understand how your ex is thinking and feeling.
Now because your ex is of the opposite sex – and this applies equally to gay couples – you are likely to get it wrong.
The solution is to find someone who understands the opposite sex, understands how they are probably feeling right now and understands what the best approach will be to get them to fall in love with your again. Essentially you are starting all over – only this time you are at an advantage because you already know what made them like you in the first place. All you have to do is recapture that feeling.
Now that may sound easy but I know that right now you are desperate and want to get this relationship back on track before it is too late. That’s how you feel right?
Well for once desperate times do not call for desperate measures. Remember you need to understand what your ex is going through, you are starting all over and you weren’t desperate then.
There are thousands of stories of relationships working even after one partner has done something unthinkable and seemingly unforgivable like have an affair. You probably even know someone who went through this.
Do not despair there is a solution no matter how difficult things may seem right now. Do not do anything that is likely to make matters worse. Stop frantic phone calls and messages for a start. Take a few deep breaths and promise yourself to think things through. Make a list of the things your ex found attractive in you. Now make a list of what your ex didn’t like about you. Getting your relationship back on track can be difficult but it is not impossible. You are at a disadvantage and a distinct advantage at the same time – it’s a matter of maximizing your opportunities and making each move count in your favour.
If you feel that getting your relationship back on track is worth it you owe it to yourself and your ex to give it the best shot you’ve got.
